Here is a link to a ride report I have started at ADVRider. I welcome any added pictures and commentary. I'm adding a little at a time, lots of pictures. I have not had any luck posting my videos yet.

Tteam AARP rocks...
Capt Rick,
I told Slojoe that we should be the AARP javelinas--after the pigs we saw in the box. From Wikipedia..
"Peccaries... (javelinas)...are medium-sized animals, with a strong superficial resemblance to pigs....Peccaries are omnivores, and will eat small animals, although their preferred food consists of roots, grass, seeds, and fruit. ...The jaws and tusks of peccaries are adapted for crushing hard seeds and slicing into plant roots, and they also use their tusks for defense. Peccaries, indeed, are aggressive enough in temperament that.....they cannot be domesticated....
Peccaries are social animals, and often form herds. ....Peccaries have scent glands....The odor is strong enough to be picked up by humans, which earns the peccary the nickname of skunk pig.
On second thought--maybe not....
Been a while since I checked in here, but ... dang ... looks like I missed out on a great ride! The Palomas Gap section looks like a lot of fun. What roads did you take through there?
