Glen Isham said… - Thanks, Brewtus! There seem to be a whole lot more dual-sport/adventure types up in NM than in ELP. Down here it's mainly adherents to the Church of Harley Davidson & the ubiquitous crotch-rocket-speed-freaks. Not that I have anything against either type of rider, but it'd be nice to have a bigger pool of potential riding partners.
I should fulfill my jones at the MRR this weekend though. I leave at 0500. Thanks again for the welcome!

My bike is already probably put up for the winter and she's feeling neglected. It's not too cold to ride at the moment, but I'm leaving to go on vacation for a month and I'm sure there will be snow on the ground when I return. I really wish I could go on the Monticello ride this weekend, but, shucky darn, I'll be on a plane flying to Kathmandu, Nepal to go trekking for a month. Yeehaw!
