Wow - Russia! That sounds great - kinda' cold, though.
Let us know when you are back in town. Does your wife do riding on her own over here? We'd be happy to have her come with us on the weekends. Our rides around Placitas are relatively gentle to places like the Caldera and have only caused a few bike drops. :^)

Sorry I've been out of touch. Between work, sinus infections, and the off and on weather we've haven't done a whole lot of riding.
Are you on a Red KLR? My husband and I waved at someone on what we think was a red DS on Saturday and we wondered if it was you.
We'd enjoy getting together with you and your wife some weekend. My husband is sometimes off on Fridays, as well as the weekend. I'm off the summer, and we are on spring break this week.
We're looking forward to meeting you and yours!

My husband also just bought a Yamaha XT250. We went riding off of Camino de las Huertas today - just for about an hour.
When you are back, get in touch. We also live in Ranchos de las Placitas....perhaps we can all go riding sometime. Saturday I went with "SloJoe" and Cindy up through Tijeras Canyon, and we came back down on the back side of the mountain to Placitas. It is a nice quick ride (when there is no snow and ice). It was beautiful this weekend! I, too, hope the weather holds.....

Sorry I didn't see this earlier...I keep forgetting to frequent all 3 forums I'm in. I'm beginning to find some areas around Placitas, and today I went with a friend through Tijeras and back down the road from the ski area, although we do also go to Jemez as much as possible.
Tomorrow (Sunday) we are going to look for an area we've been hearing about near the east gate of the Open Space....
Where did you move from? Are you from in-State or out of state?
