Yes, my DRZ is the 'S', we're in the process of lowering it. I'm looking forward to getting on it, after Race Tech gets a wad of my money. Already have 1.75" Kouba-link and gel seat. I'm one of the founders of the New Mexico Off Highway Vehicle Alliance, past president.
Hi NMTrailboss,
We were looking at your trip photos on ADVRider, trying to figure out who you guys are. The only one I recognize is Chris Porter. Sorry to hear of Steve Roe's passing. I was on a Big Dog ride (1997-1998?), that I recall as a particularly miserable cold, snowy-wet day. At lunch some of us (without heated grips) decided to head back from Mountainair instead of completing the loop. Steve sneaked out during lunch and hung tampons (by their strings) on the handlebars of the 'wussies' who were heading back.
