He was making a joke on the place where I was riding. It is known for a lot of sand. I don't have a dual-sport so I don't notice the difference ;)
I REALLY like the program MyTracks(by google) for the Android based phone. You can export it to google maps fairly easy. Unfortunately you need a cell phone signal to populate the map details, but it will still track the map via gps.
