Well, I wish you the best, and I hope you have a speedy recovery. And I hope you get Griselda fixed while we're going into the coldest part of the winter. At least this happened now, and not at the beginning of spring:) That would really suck...

That really frickin' hurt. I didn't realize it at the time, but I did a little more damage (to me, not the bike) than just bruising my arm.

I slammed the bars with my chest & bruised up my ribs pretty good, & then somewhere along the line I bruised the hell out of my tail bone. It still hurts like hell whenever I sit or get up from sitting, and it made the 3 hour ride back to ELP a whole lotta fun. Definitely will NOT ride sand/loose rock with fully-loaded hard bags again.
Regardless of my numerous "incidents" on Sunday, though, I had a blast! Thanks Buggs, Jody, & the rest of you who helped me pick up my big black pig, over and over again. I had a great time, and I look forward to riding with you all again, (though it won't be until my ass stops hurting).
