Nothing to be Afraid, Badlands Against the Storm

The snow was accumulating and it was getting cold creating ice underneath the snow.

Shortly before this video I took a fall trying to clear a rut. The bike leaned to the right and the momentum pushed the bike against my knee of my right leg which was inside the rut causing severe pain. Doctor said I strained/pulled a ligament.

At this point I knew we were in trouble and as I was slipping and sliding I kept telling myself, “just concentrate Alex, there is nothing to be afraid.” I knew we had a ways to go and we were counting on Dion to lead us out safely. Never cross Mother Nature, because she will bite you in the ass.

"I thought you went back on Pipeline Rd, did you go back into the trail network after riding Pipeline?
I hope you feel 100% soon"

Thanks Chris, I feel a lot better, it's still very sore.

We broke up into 2 groups, Joey took one group on the pipeline and Dion took another group on the whoops, I went with Dion.
